Snowfighting

Despite all the complaining about the cold, and shivering like mad while wearing excessive amounts of clothing, once there's enough snow on the ground to dunk people in, I'll bet my last dollar all you (and me) Singaporeans who've never seen snow before (on a daily basis at least? maybe?) will dash out there--freshmen at least (since this is more or less targeted at freshmen right?).

Some simple heuristics (sorry too much CS) for gameplay (go build a minimax tree! whoops):

Keep your eye on your attacker(s), and duck when necessary.

Do not bend down to pick up snowballs or you'll get hit.

Do not hit too many people or you'll get ganged up against.

Discuss openly who you're going to hit next to get people to gang up against one person.

Don't bother trying to compact dry snow--just pick up huge chunks and throw.

Don't bother aiming, go right up to the person and smash the snow(ball(s)) in them.

If there's not enough snowballs, just pile snow down their jackets!

As an aside, you start to see all sorts of weird stuff made of snow around campus, like an igloo that's there now (how long more before it melts? hmm...), lots of huge balls of snow that were obviously attempts at building snowmen etc. Fun! (Despite the cold.)
